Ximena has an extensive professional career in strategic communications and PR. She has been part of Auscham since 2011. In 2018 she became General Manager, after 7 years working at the Chamber. During this period, she has managed the relationship with partners and commercial exchange between various institutions, promoting the internationalization of Chilean companies in Australia through ProChile, and in close collaboration with the Governments of both countries.

 The Chilean-Australian Chamber of Commerce has experienced sustained growth in recent years, generating a positive impact for its members. Some of the initiatives that Ximena has led to achieve this purpose have been business conferences, relationship events, Networking actions, Trade Missions to Australia, search for potential strategic partners and media plans.
