Diversity and inclusion
Vision
Business management is in an accelerated transition towards greater awareness of the needs of the societies in which it is inserted. In a globalized world, people's rights and aspirations have taken a priority role, making it imperative to generate inclusive and diverse spaces in which to continue evolving and improving both as businesses and as individuals. The Gender and Diversity Committee at Auscham seeks to establish a standard among member companies to be benchmarks in Chile, and reflect the Australian standard on inclusion and gender.
Goals
- Reinforce equal rights and opportunities, promoting diversity in leadership, contributing to business growth and economic development, especially to member companies.
- Promote a road map to companies so that they can analyze and adapt their policies and practices to move towards the empowerment of women and other groups, especially in their participation in management positions.
- Work together with the other Committees to achieve greater interaction and visibility of diversity aspects in member companies (add male members to the Gender Committee, and in turn have the members of the Gender Committee participate in the other committees).
