Vision
To be an integrating committee, facilitator and spread of initiatives, good practices and potential business opportunities, both for mining companies and industry suppliers. Position AUSCHAM and its partners as one of the relevant actors in the mining business agenda, both in Chile and Australia.
Goals
- Generate instances to promote the commercial relationship between the members of the Mining Committee and generate contacts and business opportunities, in Australia and Chile.
- Generate instances of participation in relevant mining events, both in Australia and Chile, allowing greater internationalization and visibility for committee members and AUSCHAM.
- Share experience between Australia / Chile, regarding the mining industry, especially in good practices, success stories, identification of new market members and/or relevant projects.
- Promote coordinated work with the different committees, to build synergies, carry out common initiatives and transfer good practices on issues of safety, sustainability, diversity, innovation and people management.
- Identify and analyze regulatory, economic or national and international market changes.

- Support the visibility of the committee's companies in the industry.
- Visits to relevant industry sites or facilities.
- Make approaches and achieve initiatives with other chambers and associations of the mining industry.
