Graduate in Legal and Social Sciences from the University of Chile, Master of Laws (LLM) at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), with a postgraduate course at Stanford University (Influence and Negotiation Strategies Program).
At the beginning of his career he worked as a lawyer at the Cariola, Diez, Perez-Cotapos, Carey & Cia. and Dentons law firms. During the years 2006-2009 he was Legal Manager (Fiscal) of Pacific Hydro and later joined as Legal Manager of Bechtel Latam (2009-2012). During 2013 and 2014 he worked as Senior Counsel at the Bechtel offices in Brisbane, Australia in the Mining and Metals area, returning to Chile in January 2015 as Business Development Manager – Water for Bechtel.
In September 2015 he became Legal Manager of Komatsu Latam.
During the years 2016-2019 he held the position of Prosecutor of Codelco.
In December 2019, he took over as Prosecutor of Teck Chile, main shareholder of the Quebrada Blanca project, and also owner of the Carmen de Andacollo mine.
