Diego Peña is partner at the DLA Piper law firm and leads the Energy and Natural Resources area and is a partner in the Regulated Markets area.
He is also regional co-leader of the Energy and Natural Resources area. He concentrates his practice on advising local and foreign clients on several matters related to the area of Energy and Natural Resources, providing advice on M&A processes and the development of infrastructure and energy projects of a different nature.

In the area of infrastructure, Diego has significant experience advising developers, operators and private investors; engineering and construction; mining and energy companies; banks, financial and insurance institutions, in the different stages and aspects that make up infrastructure projects, developed in Chile and Latin America.

Diego also co-leads the Regulated Markets area. His vast experience allows him to advise clients from sectors such as energy, telecommunications and infrastructure in bidding processes, especially public ones, and administrative procedures before different organizations, including requests for authorizations, sanctioning procedures, among others.
